Film processing is a huge undertaking, it requires a very large electro-mechanical-chemical machine just to take your negatives which have been exposed, to a state where they are developed - viewable in light and ready to print or scan.   It also requires a dedicated staff who knows the nature of film, how to treat it and how to get the best results.  It really is an art form like none other.

If you have rolls of film that have never seen the light of day, now is the time to get them developed. Undeveloped film degrades in it’s canister over time. This time can vary from years to decades, but eventually a roll of film looses it’s vibrancy and sharpness - this can be further exasperated by bright light, heat and moisture. Very old rolls of film are extremely hard to develop because they have been tightly curled for decades. You can prevent future damage by having them developed today. What are you waiting for?
