Stephen E. Kancianic, CPP

Nationally Certified Professional Photographer & Owner

Steve is originally from Woodbridge, VA, but spent most of his childhood growing up in Easton, Pennsylvania. After High School, he went on to study education at Penn State Berks campus in Reading, PA. Soon his attention turned to photography and he left Penn State to attend Philadelphia’s prestigious Antonelli Institute of Art & Photography.

He graduated with honors from Antonelli Institute in 2004. During college and later in Pittsburgh, PA, Steve worked as a freelance photographer, photographing dozens wedding and events independently and with several different professional photographers. He is known among photographers for his energy, Christian perspective, professional demeanor, and incredible pictures.

In 2006 Steve and Rachel relocated to Virginia, and created Yours Truly Photography LLC, a studio dedicated to beautiful photography and uncompromised service. In November of 2009, Yours Truly purchased the assets of Picture Me and moved into their current location.

Steve's photography has been included in many publications, advertisements, and websites. Steve teaches photography classes at the studio and at Rappahannock Community College where he serves as an Adjunct Professor.

Dawn Stouffer

Lab Manager

Dawn has worked in the photography industry since 2001, starting here with Picture Me and continuing with Yours Truly Photography.

Dawn is originally from the small town of Tyrone, Pennsylvania, just 25 miles west of Penn State University. She served our country as a Mess Management Specialist 2nd Class in the US Navy from 1988-1998 at NCS Cheatham Annex and Navchapgru in Williamsburg, aboard the USS John C Stennis CVN-74, and finished her career at NWS Yorktown. Dawn was active in Desert Storm (Saudi Arabia), Desert Shield (Kuwait), Operation Restore Hope (Mogadishu, Somolia) and Operation Restore Democracy (Guantanamo Bay, Cuba).

As lab manager, Dawn has the experience and skill to take on any project that comes through our doors. On most days Dawn is the one who greets you on the phone or at the door, and can answer your questions about photography and photo printing.

Dawn continues to be an important team member with Yours Truly Photography and has become an invaluable resource.

Rachel Kancianic

Business Manager & Co-Owner

Rachel & Steve met through high school in Easton, Pa. Rachel is a 2004 graduate of The Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University. After graduation, Rachel and Steve were married and moved to Pittsburgh, PA where Rachel attended graduate school at Chatham College. After receiving her masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies, the Kancianic's relocated to Middlesex County, Virginia, in search of warmer weather and great sailing waters.

Rachel worked at White Stone Family Practice as a Physician Assistant from 2006 until 2010. She is now a stay-at-home mom and business manager for Yours Truly Photography. Rachel works behind the scenes keeping our inventory fresh and paperwork current.

Our photographers' professional active memberships include PPA (Professional Photographers of America), VPPA (Virginia Professional Photographers Association), SEPPA (South Eastern Professional Photographers Association. and IPI (Independent Photographic Imagers).
