We process true black and white film. B&W film needs to be processed with special chemistry and equipment not found at national brand stores. Unlike color film, Black and white film is much more stable - a non-developed roll will still be good to process years after a color roll of film has deteriorated.
All black and white film is processed by hand by Steve. He has years of experience processing all types and sizes. We use only Kodak brand developer and chemistry.
In the dark, your film is removed from the canister and carefully loaded onto a special reel which allows chemistry to flow around the film. Then into the processing tank goes the film and 3 rounds of chemistry at specific temperatures, lengths of time and the right amount of agitation. Film is rinsed, printed, scanned and cut.
